Welcome to official Website for the the Mildred M. Johnson Library!

With the blessing of Mildred, a new organization was established in 2005 to celebrate Deaf, Deaf-Blind and Hard of Hearing life through books and media in the form of a library. Although Mildred is no longer with us, she has provided a legacy of newspaper clippings, magazines, journals, books, videos and more for us to enjoy.

The Mildred M. Johnson Memorial Library is currently organizing towards opening a library in Seattle, Washington. With donations already coming in from generous individuals in 2005, we hope to provide a community space to enjoy these materials.
